Group Class Training

Our group classes are thoughtfully structured around your dog’s age and life stage, rather than breed or size. This approach recognises that dogs at similar developmental stages share comparable physical and mental needs, making learning smoother and more effective for everyone. By progressing through classes at a steady, manageable pace, you and your dog will build skills and confidence together, setting you both up for long-term success.

Throughout the courses, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how dogs learn and how to prevent common behavioural issues before they arise. As you move forward, the exercises will gently increase in complexity – but don’t worry, if anything feels too challenging for you or your dog, we’ll adapt and slow the pace as needed. Our priority is to help you succeed, not rush you.

Enjoyment and Connection
Above all, our classes are designed to be an enjoyable hour of quality time with your dog. The focus is on strengthening your bond and creating a positive, rewarding learning experience. I want both you and your dog to look forward to class each week, knowing it’s a safe space to learn, grow, and have fun.

To help you get off to the best possible start, your first session will be a Private 1:1 Training appointment.

This private introduction ensures that you feel comfortable and confident before joining the group.

Your dog has a chance to explore the training environment in a calm, positive way.

This gentle introduction is especially helpful for puppies forming their first impressions or for owners who may feel nervous about joining a class with others. It’s completely normal to feel that way – but rest assured, many of our group class attendees go on to make lasting friendships (and even arrange regular dog walks together!).

Supporting You and Your Dog
Dogs are incredibly in tune with our emotions. They sense changes in our tone of voice and can even detect stress hormones through their powerful noses. If we’re anxious, it can unintentionally affect our dogs’ behaviour too. That’s why your comfort and confidence matter just as much as your dog’s. The Private 1:1 Training session also gives you the chance to ask any questions and get personalised guidance before your first group class. Together, we’ll build the foundation for a happy, well-adjusted dog – and an owner who enjoys every step of the journey.
